Become a Food Handler Trainer in Malaysia

KKM-approved food handler trainer? Teach online or face-to-face with classes scheduled for you, while our system handles attendance, certificates and payouts.

We are looking for food handler trainers who enjoy teaching and understand how Malaysian kitchens really work. At Niat Murni Academy, participant registration, attendance and certificates are handled by our system, so you can focus on the most important part of the class, which is teaching.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for KKM-approved food handler trainers, or people with relevant food safety qualifications. Experience in the food industry, such as hotel kitchens, catering, food factories or canteens, is valued highly because participants learn best from real examples.

We also need trainers who can teach in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin or Tamil. If you are comfortable teaching in more than one language, mention it in your application.

Beyond qualifications, we want trainers who are punctual, patient with the same question asked many times, and able to explain technical points like storage temperatures in words a stall owner understands.

What do you get when you teach with us?

  • Classes scheduled for you. We handle marketing, bookings and participant payments. You receive a class schedule that is already arranged.
  • Online and face-to-face. Teach on Zoom from home, or at face-to-face venues in your state.
  • Automated attendance and certificates. Attendance checks, assessment results and certificate delivery run through the system, so you never retype name lists or fill in certificate forms one by one.
  • Payouts you can track. The classes you have taught and your payout status are visible in the tutor portal.

How does our system make your work easier?

Before class, the participant list is already in the tutor portal, complete with language and class mode. During class, you mark attendance directly in the portal. After the assessment, the system prepares and sends the certificates to participants, so you are not up late finishing paperwork.

What does a tutor do in each class?

Tutors arrive early, teach according to the KKM syllabus, take attendance through the portal and run the short assessment at the end of class. Our participants come from many backgrounds, from kopitiam workers to foreign kitchen helpers, so patience and simple explanations matter a lot.

Picture a Saturday morning class with a kopitiam owner, two kitchen helpers from Bangladesh and a home baker. Your job is to make sure each of them understands why hands must be washed after handling money, and how cooked food should be stored.

How do I apply?

Fill in the application form in the tutor portal. Have ready a copy of your KKM approval or relevant qualification, a short summary of your work experience, your teaching languages and the states where you can teach. Our team will review your application and contact you about the next step.
