Terms & Conditions for Food Handler Course

These Terms and Conditions apply when you use niatmurni.my, book a class with us or use our participant portal. The website and courses are run by Niat Murni Solutions (SSM 202503084604 (RA0123143-A)), trading as Niat Murni Academy, a KKM-recognised Food Handler Training School (approval no. SL0426010-0/1). By using the website or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

Rules about attendance, assessment and certificates are in our Course Terms. Cancellations and refunds are covered in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, and personal data in our Privacy Policy. These documents apply together with these terms.

1. About these terms

"We", "us" and "our" mean Niat Murni Solutions. "You" means the person using the website or making a booking. A "participant" is the person who attends the class and receives the certificate.

If you book for other people, for example an HR manager registering a hotel kitchen team or a caterer registering helpers for a kenduri job, you confirm that you have their permission to give us their details. Please share these terms and the Course Terms with them before the class.

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms still apply.

2. Using our website

You may use our website to read about the course, check the class schedule, make a booking, verify a certificate and contact us. You must not use the website in a way that breaks the law, disrupts how it works or tries to reach data that does not belong to you.

We work to keep the information on the website accurate. Class dates, times and venues can change, and the details in your booking confirmation are the ones that apply to you.

We may pause parts of the website for maintenance or security reasons, so we cannot promise it will always be available.

3. Bookings

Your booking is confirmed once your payment has been received and verified, and you will get a confirmation with your booking code by email or WhatsApp. A seat shown as available on the website is not reserved for you until your booking is confirmed.

You must give correct details for every participant: full name as shown on the MyKad or passport, the MyKad or passport number, phone number and email address. These details go on the certificate and the KKM training record, so a mistake can delay the certificate.

The same terms apply to group and corporate bookings, for each participant. Employers who want a custom class date or time can see our corporate and group page. Date changes and missed classes follow the Course Terms.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). The course fee is RM50 per participant, and the same fee applies to individual and group bookings. Optional extras, such as express delivery of the printed certificate (from RM10, depending on location), are shown at checkout before you pay.

You can pay online through the HitPay secure payment gateway, using FPX online banking or a card, or by bank transfer with proof of payment uploaded. Bank transfer bookings are confirmed after we check the payment. A company invoice is available for corporate bookings.

We are an HRD Corp registered training provider. If you plan to claim the fee under HRD Corp, please arrange it with our customer service before you book, because not every booking can be claimed.

We may change our prices from time to time. A price change does not affect a booking that has already been confirmed and paid.

5. Accounts and the participant portal

After booking, participants may receive access to our portal to join the class, complete the assessment and download the certificate. Keep your login details to yourself and do not let anyone else use your account.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it. We may suspend an account if we see signs of misuse.

6. Course materials and intellectual property

The course follows the KKM syllabus, but our slides, notes, videos, assessment questions, certificate design, website content and logo belong to Niat Murni Solutions or to the parties who licensed them to us. You may use the materials for your own learning.

You may not copy, sell, share, upload or use our materials to run your own training without our written permission.

7. No recording of classes

You may not record, livestream or take screenshots of any part of a class, online or physical. This protects the privacy of other participants and the trainer, and it protects our materials.

If we find that a participant is recording a class, we may remove them from the class without a refund, and that session may not count towards attendance. We keep attendance records for online classes, such as Zoom join and leave times, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable behaviour

Please treat our trainers, staff and other participants with respect, in class, in our website chat, on WhatsApp and on the phone. Abusive language, harassment and behaviour that disrupts the class are not allowed.

The person who attends the class and sits the assessment must be the participant named in the booking. If someone else attends or answers the assessment for a participant, we will not issue the certificate and may cancel the booking without a refund.

We may remove anyone who breaks these rules from a class and may refuse their future bookings.

9. Third-party services

We use other companies to run parts of our service. These include Zoom for online classes, HitPay for online payments, WhatsApp for reminders and support, and providers for hosting and email. When you use these services, their own terms and privacy policies also apply.

We are not responsible for outages on these services that are outside our control, but we will help where we can. If we have to cancel a class, the Cancellation & Refund Policy explains your options.

For online classes, you are responsible for your own device, internet connection and Zoom app. Links on our website to outside sites, such as KKM or FoSIM, are for your information only and we do not control them.

10. Limitation of liability

We deliver our courses with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Malaysian law that cannot be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 where it applies.

We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as power cuts, internet or platform outages, floods or government orders. We are also not responsible for decisions by local councils (PBT), employers or other authorities about licences, permits or jobs. We provide the training and the certificate, while each authority sets its own requirements.

We are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of business, income or profit. Where we are found liable to you, our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Changes do not affect bookings that were already confirmed before the change, unless the law requires otherwise.

12. Governing law and language

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If there is a dispute, please contact us first so we can try to settle it. If it cannot be settled, it will be handled by the courts of Malaysia.

These terms are available in Bahasa Melayu, English and Chinese. If the versions differ, the Bahasa Melayu version applies.
